Our mission
The mission of Athens Institute of Allied Health, is to provide allied health educational programs that are responsive to diverse students and communities and that will lead to careers in the allied health field.
The objectives of Athens Institute of Allied Health are to:
- Provide academic instruction to promote fulfillment and the best opportunity to acquire marketable skills that can be utilized in the healthcare industry.
- Provide work-force skills training through occupational programs.
- Prepare students with the skills to function effectively in the work place.
- Provide basic skills educational and student services programs to help students become successful learners.
- Establish partnerships with businesses and governmental entities as well as other educational institutions to advance employment development
- Improve the quality of life for students and communities through learning and academic achievement.
- Anticipate and prepare for challenges by continually assessing and prioritizing programs, services, community needs & Seek the resources required to function effectively.
Our Facilities
The school’s facility is specially designed for training students in the medical field. Our campus includes multiple classrooms as well as laboratory and practice areas. The facility also accommodate administrative offices, restrooms and a student lounge.

Athens Institute of Allied Health is authorized by the Georgia Non-Public Postsecondary Education Commission. We are certified and approved as a testing site through NHA (National Healthcareer Association). As we are owned by Athens CPR & Safety, we are also authorized by The American Red Cross and The American Heart Association for the CPR, First Aide, AED, BLS Healthcare Provider and ACLS courses.
